Main level has great room, dining, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and full bath. Generous upstairs kids loft bedroom with plenty to keep the kiddos busy. Lower level has sizable bedroom, couch seating, TV, exterior door, private bathroom and laundry.
House rules
- No smoking in the house. A $1500 air remediation fee will be charged if smoking indoors occurs.
- We are happy to welcome well-behaved dogs to our home at $50 per pet per night. Pet fee is non-refundable & must be paid prior to your check-in. For any unauthorised pet, a pet fee of $100 per pet per night will be charged. Guests are responsible for picking up all pet waste, both indoors and in the yard. Failure to do so will result in an additional cleaning fee.
- Late checkout will be charged a $100 fee if after 10:30am unless otherwise approved ahead of time. This is to help respect our cleaners time and turning house for next guest.
- Please follow checkout instructions or additional labor fees can be applied if cleaners charge us extra.
- No parties without prior approval. A fee of $500 could be charged for cleanup.
- Extra guest fee will be charged if more than 10 guests stay at $50 per night, per guest.
- If more than two dogs are brought an extra fee of $150 will be added. No cats please due to homeowners allergy.
- Please only park in driveway or in front of driveway. Please don’t park in front of neighbors’ home or they could legally tow the vehicle.
Hot Tub 🛀
If you find you cannot adjust the hot tub temperature, the control panel may be locked. To unlock it:
- Press and hold the "Temp" or "Up" button for approximately 5-10 seconds until the lock icon disappears or the display changes.
- Once unlocked, you can adjust the temperature as desired.
Gas Fireplace 🔥
- Our cozy gas fireplace is perfect for chilly evenings. If the pilot light goes out (which can sometimes happen due to wind), here’s how to relight it:
1. Locate and open the control box near the fireplace.
2. Turn the knob to the "Pilot" setting.
3. Press and hold the knob in while repeatedly pressing the ignition button until the pilot light ignites.
4. Continue to hold the knob in for about 30 seconds after the pilot light is lit to ensure it stays on.
5. Finally, turn the knob to "On" to start the main flame.
Heating & Cooling 🌡️
- Heating: The cabin is warmed by electric baseboard heaters. You can control these using the individual wall thermostats located in each room.
- Cooling: We do not have central AC. Window air-conditioning units are available for the living room (main floor), the loft, and both main-floor bedrooms. Please let us know if you need these installed. The basement does not have AC.
