Todd, NC (where we are located) is CENTRAL to SO many attractions and activities! Riverside Restaurant and Provisions is a short walk from the house.
Here are fun things to do close to the house:
1. Attend an amazing concert during the summer concert series (artists can be found with a quick online search).
2. Kayaking, tubing, fishing, and cycling outfitters close by (visit trip advisor for companies and reviews).
3. Drive the famous Blue Ridge Parkway (just 15 min away). Enjoy iconic hikes and beautiful overlooks. You can find hiking distances and difficulty levels with a quick online search.
4. Ashe County Cheese Factory: Sample artisanal cheeses and watch the cheese-making process.
5. Mount Jefferson State Park
6. The Watauga County Farmer’s Market has great local produce, baked goods, flowers and crafts.
7. Superb restaurants, craft-brewed coffee shops (local roasters), and nightlife in downtown Boone.

Some firewood is provided but more can be purchased locally and is specified in guest guidebook (digital link sent 24 hours in advance).
Charcoal grill (charcoal, lighter and lighter fluid provided).
Kitchen is stocked with blender, spices, cleaning supplies, coffee maker with free coffee & coffee condiments.
Soft, breathable linens, bath towels & hand-cloths are also included.
Futon folds down flat. Mattress pad, extra pillows, comforter and sheets are provided.
Smart TV has plenty of streaming apps. Guest will need to login to personal accounts.
Driveway has two parking spaces.
Guests can access the entire property at anytime through the use of the smart lock.
House rules
Occupancy
-Our tiny home comfortably accommodates a maximum of 4 guests.
Pets🐾
-We are happy to welcome one dog up to 35 lbs.
-If you plan to bring a larger or additional dog, please seek prior approval from us, as this may incur extra fees.
-A standard $50 per pet per night fee will be charged. Please ensure this payment request is settled promptly.
-For any unauthorised pet, a pet fee of $100 per pet per night will be charged.
-We kindly ask that you clean up all pet messes, both inside the house and in the yard. Failure to do so will result in an additional cleaning charge.
Smoking🚭
-Smoking is permitted outdoors only.
-Please dispose of all cigarette butts in the exterior containers provided.
-No smoking inside. A $1500 charge will be applied if smoking occurs in the house to pay for smoke remediation prior to the next guest.
Noise🤫
-We encourage you to enjoy your stay, but please be mindful of noise levels, especially during the evening hours, to ensure a peaceful environment for all.
Waste & Recycling🗑️
-Please gather all trash from every room and consolidate it into the kitchen receptacle before you leave.
Kitchen & Dishes🍽️
-Before your departure, please wash all dirty dishes and leave them to air dry.
-Kindly empty, rinse, and unplug the coffee pot.
General Courtesy & Departure✨
-Please turn off all lights and TVs when not in use or upon your departure.
-Close the patio umbrella before you leave the property.
-Ensure all windows and doors are locked when you depart.
-If you moved any furniture during your stay, please return it to its original position.
-On your departure, please leave beds unmade and place any used towels in the shower.
-Unapproved late checkouts will be charged an additional fee.
