Downstairs:
-Queen bedroom with plush mattress and linens, & smart TV
-Kids bunk room that sleeps 4 (individual twin beds between the bunk beds, trundle and single bed.
-Bean bag chairs and smart TV so the kids have their own area to hang out and play.
-Shared full bathroom between the lower floor bedrooms.

In heavy winter months (December through March) AWD or 4WD vehicles required. Driveway is flat but getting from Banner Elk up the mountain can get icy during storms. Tire chains are sold and installed in Banner Elk, if needed.
House rules
No smoking inside. A $1500 fee will be charged if guests smokes inside to pay for air remediation.
We are happy to welcome up to two well-behaved dogs to our home at $50 per pet per night which is non refundable & must be paid prior to your check-in. For any unauthorised pet, a pet fee of $100 per pet per night will be charged. Guests are responsible for picking up all pet waste, both indoors and in the yard. Failure to do so will result in an additional cleaning fee.
🌡️ Climate Control: Multi-Zone Mini-Split HVAC System
- For optimal performance, ensure all indoor units are set to the same operating mode (either all on Heat or all on Cool). Individual temperature settings can vary.
- Please confirm that no unit is left in "Defrost" mode.
- When using the Air Conditioning (A/C), set the master thermostat to "Cooling", not "Auto".
- If the system stops working:
1. Power all indoor units off.
2. Verify that all units are set to the same operating mode (Heat or Cool).
3. Restart each unit one at a time.
🔥 Gas Fireplace
- Our beautiful 2-story rock fireplace uses gas logs only. Never burn wood, cook, or warm food in the fireplace.
- The pilot light should always remain lit. Please do NOT switch it off.
- For normal operation, the black control box located inside the firebox must be set to "REMOTE". You can then operate the fireplace using the wall remote, found to the right of the mantle.
- If the wall remote fails to work (and the pilot light is on), you can manually operate the fireplace by sliding the black control box switch to "ON" to ignite the fire, and back to "OFF" to extinguish it.
