Spacious Cabin w/ Hot Tub Close To Ski Lifts

Bear Pause has 3 levels:

Entry level from front of the house:

You enter the great room with modern, well-equipped kitchen, large 2-story living room with gas fireplace and views of the mountains. There is a dining area that seats 8, bar top that seats 4, and breakfast table that seats 4. There are two king master suites on this level and 2 bathrooms

Lower level / basement:

Large game room with pool table, fusball and more
2nd living room with desk for remote work
3 queen bedrooms and 2 bathroom
Mudroom with exit to hot tub and firepit area

Loft:

Kids room with 3 twin size beds

Guests will have access to the entire .63 acre secluded property.

Amazing location close to everything Beech Mountain has to offer. Short driving distance to Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, and less than 40 minutes to Boone.

A car is required for this location. Four-wheel drive or AWD is highly recommended for winter season. If you don't have this drivetrain you can have chains put on your tires in Banner Elk prior to coming up the mountain.

There is plenty of parking at the cabin. The upper driveway holds 2 vehicles and the lower driveway can hold 3-4 depending on the size.

House rules

1) No smoking in the house. A $1500 air remediation fee will be charged if smoking indoors occurs.

2) We are happy to welcome well-behaved dogs to our home at $50 per pet per night. Pet fee is non-refundable & must be paid prior to your check-in. For any unauthorised pet, a pet fee of $100 per pet per night will be charged. Guests are responsible for picking up all pet waste, both indoors and in the yard. Failure to do so will result in an additional cleaning fee.

3) Check-in / check-out times are strict due to back to back bookings in high seasons. Early or Late checkouts may be granted for a small additional fee, if available. Inquire for more information and availability.

4)By using the hot tub, I acknowledge the risks involved, including but not limited to drowning, heat-related illness, chemical burns, and injury. I assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages and release The homeowner and their associates from all liability. I confirm that the area is safe, and if I feel otherwise, I will leave immediately. I understand the hot tub is not suitable for pregnant women, children, or those with medical conditions without consulting a physician. Use is limited to 15 minutes at a time, and alcohol/drug use is prohibited. I agree to follow all safety instructions provided, including maintaining cleanliness and properly closing the cover after use. I waive all rights to legal claims for injuries or property damage and understand this agreement remains in effect during all future uses of the hot tub. I agree to be liable for any damages caused by negligence or recklessness and to cover any related costs.

🌡️ Climate Control (Mini-Split HVAC)
- Our cabin is equipped with individual mini-split units in each room for personalized comfort.

Important: All mini-split units throughout the cabin must operate in the SAME mode at all times (either all heating 🔥 or all cooling ❄️).

- Mixing modes (e.g., one unit on heat and another on cool) will cause the entire system to shut down.

- You are welcome to adjust the temperature for each individual room's unit once the overall mode is set.

- Tip for Fastest Cooling: To cool down quickly, first set every unit in the home to the same cooling temperature. Once the cabin starts to cool, you can then fine-tune each room's temperature as desired.
